Although stories only last on your profile for a day, Instagram saves them on your archives folder. In this way, you can revisit your old stories and share them whenever you want.

How to check all your previous stories on Instagram
If you want to view all the previous stories you posted on your profile, you have the option to check the archives on your account. You can view the stories you shared by date, on a calendar, or with a map.
You can check your archives folder from the Instagram app on your phone. Follow our tutorial below, and we’ll show you how to do it from an Android device.
- Open Instagram from your home screen or app drawer and sign in to your account.
- Tap your icon on the bottom right corner to open your profile page.
- Tap the hamburger icon on the upper right side of the page to open your profile options.
- On the menu that appears, select “Archive.”
- Scroll up to view all stories you previously shared on your account.
Note: Only you can view your previous stories on Instagram unless you choose to share them.

If you used the location feature on some of your stories, you can use the map view to check all the stories you shared from around the world.
