Step 1

Go to your server icon. It is in the left corner. Right-click on it and select “Server Settings”. This will take you to the next step.

Step 2

Choose the first option from the top. You are looking for the menu “Overview”. Now, a submenu will open. Here you can see the name of your server and plenty of other options. What you want is to scroll a bit down. Look for “System Messages Channels”. This is where you can add your customized message. 

Step 3

To turn the welcome message off, toggle the “No System Messages” option. Now, your members will no longer see a welcome message pop up on their chat screen.

Choose a server in a server list and then select the three dots icon. In a new pop-up window select the gear icon to access settings.

Under server settings choose the overview.

To turn the welcome message off, toggle the “No System Messages” option. Now, your members will no longer see a welcome message pop up on their chat screen.
