How to Turn Off Slow Mode in Desktop

If you enabled slow mode and now you have no idea how to turn it off, don’t worry! We got you. We’ve prepared an easy step-by-step guide for you. Just follow the steps and you will do it in no-time. Here is how you can do it. 

Step 1

 For the first step, go to the channel where you enabled the slow mode. Now select the cog option. This is the “Edit Channel” option. Press on it to get to the next step.

Step 2

Select the first menu from the top. What you are looking for is “Overview”. Now, this option will take you to the next submenu. Here you can see “Slowmode”. There is a whole bar of different options for slow mode. What you want is to move your mouse to the left side of the bar and select “Off”. This button turns off your slow mode feature. Now, members in your channel will no longer be restricted to message one another. 

How to Turn Off Slow Mode in Mobile

Step 1

For the first step, select a server and choose a channel where you enabled the slow mode. Once you decided what server you choose long press on the said channel until there is a pop-up window that show Edit channel and select on it.

Step 2

Under Channel Settings, you can see “Slowmode Cooldown”. There is a whole bar of different options for slow mode. All you have to do is swipe the to the left to disable slowmode.
