If you wish to watch a movie, you go to Netflix. If you want to stream music, you log in to your Spotify account. But what happens when you wish to watch an anime show? That is right; it is not easy to answer this question. Thankfully, Crunchyroll has solved this dilemma.
Uncategorized
This is, by far, the best site (or app) to watch your favorite anime show or keep up to date with your manga. The best of all is that this service is free! Yes, you heard that right, you can watch the content for free. However, there are some limitations. For example, your stream will be interrupted by three (or more) commercial breaks. Besides, you will have to wait longer to be able to see the new episodes if you are a free user.
Of course, this is pretty bad. But hey! Even free things come with a price. It is up to you to decide whether you wish to pay or not.
Either way, as happens with other streaming services, Crunchyroll automatically starts the next episode when the current one finishes. While most times, this is not a problem, other people may be disturbed by it. For example, certain people like to read the comment section of the current episode, and the autoplay feature does not allow them. Therefore, if you are part of this group of people, you would want to deactivate it. Let’s learn how to do it.
We will show you how to turn autoplay off from both your PC (Crunchyroll desktop version) and your smartphone app (In this case, we will use an Android device).
From the Web Browser
Step 1
Select the episode that you wish to watch. Then, hover the mouse over the reproduction section. As you do it, some options will be displayed on the screen. Go to the top right corner of the screen and look out for the gear icon.
Step 2
You will see a new set of options appearing on the screen once you have clicked on the gear icon. For example, you can customize the video quality. But we are interested in the first option, which is autoplay. Click on it to turn it off.
From Crunchyroll Android App
Step 1
Open the app and choose the anime that you wish to see. Once the episode starts, click the screen with your finger. Like happen before, you will see some options appearing on the screen. But this time, you must head to the top right corner. Deactivate the autoplay feature if it is on.
After deactivation, the screen should look like this.
As you can see, the process is very simple. Therefore, you should be able to turn autoplay on and off without any trouble. And, if you are using another device such as PS4, Wii U, or even the Firestick, you should follow a similar process. It might not be exactly the same. As you can see, there are some minor differences between the two procedures shown in this guide. But it should be very, very similar.
