How To Set A Team Goal In Asana

Do you want to track your team’s objectives in Asana? If so, you can use the Goals tab on your workspace to make sure that everyone is working with those goals in mind. Follow our step-by-step guide below, and we’ll show you how to use the Goals feature on Asana.

People use Asana to collaborate with other teammates and company members online. The allows you to manage your projects, add tasks, including integrations, and many more.
Aside from these features, you can also add objectives for everyone on your team. With the help of this feature, everyone can focus on their work while tracking and keeping important goals in mind.
To use the Goals feature on your workspace, you’ll need to subscribe to Asana’s Business or Enterprise plan. You can’t use this feature on a free workspace.

How to add a team goal in Asana
If you want to help your team prioritize their objectives in Asana, you can set a team goal on the app. In this way, members can track and see the progress of their work.
You can add team goals from the Asana web app. Check our quick tutorial below, and we’ll show you how to do so.
On your computer:
- Open your preferred web browser, visit the Asana web client, and sign in to your account.
- Click “Goals” on the left sidebar.
- Head to the Team goals tab and select the Add Goal button.
- Enter the Goal’s name, privacy, and time period.
- Add the members by name or email, choose the method, and change the other details.
- Click the Save goal button on the bottom right to confirm your decision.
That’s how you add a goal to your Asana workspace. You can add more objectives by heading to the Goals tab and clicking the plus icon beside the Goals section.
Please note that Goals is a premium feature in Asana. You can’t access this option if you’re using a free workspace on your account.
Unfortunately, you can’t add new goals from the Asana mobile app. You’ll need to open their web app to create a new one for your team.
However, you can still view the goals for your workspace from the mobile app. Head to the Home page and select Goals on the header to view all the goals for your team.
