How To Send A Link To A Discord Profile

That is why we have decided to share this simple step-by-step guide with you. Here is how you can send a link to a Discord profile. 

In desktop:

Step 1

Open Discord and go to the settings menu on the bottom left corner. It is a cog sign next to the headphones and microphone. Press on it to get to the next step.

Step 2

 Scroll down the settings menu and look for “Appearance”. It should be somewhere in the middle. Next, a new submenu will pop up. Here you will go to the “Advanced” section and toggle “Developer Mode”.

Step 3

Now go to the person you want to copy the link from and right-click on their name. Click on the last option “Copy ID”. This option allows you to get the numeric value of that person’s Discord ID. 

Step 4

Open the browser and type in the following link “https://discordapp.com/users/xxxx/”. Don’t press enter. Not yet. 

Step 5

 Remove the Xs at the end of the link and replace them with the ID you just copied. See the example below. Press Enter and the browser will show you the profile you just linked. 

In mobile:

Step 1

Open your discord on mobile. Once you already in the main screen of discord select the user icon at the bottom of the screen to access user settings.

Step 2

In the user settings, scroll down and look for appearance. Now you already in the appearance section, navigate the developer mode and toggle it to on.

Step 3

Select on the username you want to search the ID and then hit the three dots icon and the cop ID.

Step 4

Go to any browser on you mobile and then type in the following link “https://discordapp.com/users/xxxx/”. Don’t press go. Not yet.

Step 5

Remove the Xs at the end of the link and replace them with the ID you just copied. See the example below. Press Enter and the browser will show you the profile you just linked.

That’s it! Now you know how to send a link to a Discord profile. Now all you have to do is copy that entire link and paste it wherever you like. Easy and efficient.
