How To See Who Likes You In Bumble

Nowadays, you will find many different dating apps out there. Most of them work in the same way; if you like what you are looking for, you swipe right or click on the check icon, and if you don’t like someone, you swipe left or click on the X button. It is as simple as that. But if all dating apps use the same matching system, why there are so many of them? Well, each one has some distinctive features that make them unique, and one of them is Bumble.

Bumble is different in many different ways. Their developers have added a big, and interesting twist on how dating apps usually work. For example, in all heterosexual matches, the woman is the one that has to make the first approach regardless of which person swipe right in the first place. In other words, the man can’t talk to a woman if she does not write to him first. This gives a sense of power to all women out there and makes them prone to use this app. As a result, more men are drawn to use Bumble to increase their chances of getting a match. Yes, as you can see, it is a win-win situation.

However, some matches are born in hell, and Bumble developers know it. That is why they have added a 24 hours’ deadline for both individuals to write their first message. So, to put it simply, you match a gal, she has 24 hours to write to you, then you have 24 hours to write back. What happens if either person doesn’t write? The match is dissolved, and you will no longer see it on your watch list.

Now, let’s get down to business. How do I know if someone likes me on Bumble? Well, let’s see how.

Once you enter Bumble from either your PC or smartphone, you will be able to see your matches (red rectangle), conversations (yellow rectangle), and you can see all the people that are around you (green rectangle). Yes, it is quite simple.

As said before, if you like someone you see, just swipe right or click on the check icon (if you are on the desktop version).

When you swipe right on someone, and then that person likes you back, you both get matched. Hence, you can start a conversation with that person. Remember that you have to wait for the woman to write first if you are a man.

The conversation will be saved permanently once both people write their first messages. You can access it whenever you want from the conversation section (yellow rectangle on the first picture).

Do I have to wait until I get a match to know if someone likes me?

Actually no, sometimes Bumble shows you that someone has liked your profile. However, you will not be able to see their profile picture; unless you have a special subscription. If you are a free user, you will see that user’s profile picture like this:

If you click on it, Bumble will offer you to use the Bumble Boost program. With this subscription, you can see all the people that like you, whether you like them back or not.

Of course, it is a great feature, but if you don’t feel like paying for it, you can always see the blurred profile picture and try to guess who that person is. Yes, I know, it will not be easy, but hey! Something is better than nothing.
