How To See Twitch Chat In Game

Twitch is a great application to stream your game sessions and interact with your audience. As a user, you can watch other people playing your favorite games, and learn new things and tactics. As a streamer, you can earn some money by playing games and creating quality content for your audience to see. 


But it is not that simple; some streamers use more than one monitor. One for video content creation and the other one to interact with your audience as you stream. However, if you are starting in the streaming world, you are wondering if buying a second screen is the right choice. Besides, the monitors are not cheap. Therefore, investing in high-tech equipment all at once is something hard, especially if you are starting your channel.

Don’t worry, all your prayers, or dreams, have been answered. You can actually stream and interact with your audience all at the same time! All you need an application and that is all. So let’s get down to business.

Step 1

Head to this link and download the desktop app. During the download, you can create an account if you don’t have one.

After the app download finishes, you can launch it. Enter your account information and press the login button.

Step 3

Once inside, you will be directed to the app’s main page. If this isn’t your first time using this app, there should be your linked accounts. If not, it will be a blank page.

To add a stream, click on the dashboard. If you have not used this app, you can click the dashboard option from the main page.

As you click it, the app will automatically open a browser tab where you can find all the supported channels. Choose the one you like to add it could be more than one. In this case, select the twitch option.

Click on the connect to twitch button; it is on the left side of the screen.

Wait until the page refreshes. Then log in with your twitch credentials.

Now, hit the authorize button, which is at the end of the pop-up notification.

All your linked channels are shown in the yellow section. If you want to add more, you just have to click on the add channel button. It is at the top left corner (green rectangle).

Head back to the restream desktop app and click on the drop-down menu icon. It is at the top bottom corner. there you will see all the channels that you have linked.

Click on the twitch option.

Before testing the app; let’s change some options so the chatbox doesn’t interfere with your experience. Click on the gear icon at the bottom right corner.

Choose the appearance option, which is at the top of the menu.

Step 14: 

Choose the appearance option, which is at the top of the menu. First, choose the always on top option.

Then, scroll down and play with both the background and message opacity.
