Now, it’s time to connect the USB cable. You will get this cable with the Elgato Capture Card. Put the USB in the Elgato and the other side of the USB port into your computer. Connect both the Elgato and the Splitter to a power source.

Step 5

Then, launch the software for recording your Fire TV. Now, to get this software, you can download it from their website. Install it on your computer. Without the software, you can’t record anything from your Firestick. So, make sure to download it. 

Step 6

When you are done installing the software, it’s time to start recording. Turn on your Fire TV. Go to your computer and select the “capture” tab from the software. Your TV screen will now pop up on your computer. Now, you can record whatever you are watching on your Firestick.
