Gaming
Overview
Harith is a Mage that can either be played in the Mid or Jungle role. His strong burst damage and nearly limitless mobility makes him a difficult target to pin down. He can easily dive the opponent’s backline to burst down high priority targets and can just as easily slip out of a fight. His abilities also equip him with a shield so he has the right amount of durability to keep him alive whenever he initiates. Apart from his mobility and strong burst, the best thing about Harith is his low cooldowns. His skills have very short cooldowns so you can freely spam them to deal damage or to clear waves. This opens up opportunities for him to quickly push lanes and pressure the enemy team to defend.
There are few drawbacks to playing a hero like Harith. He is a relatively easy hero to use but has a high skill ceiling to master. It may take you a bit of time to get used to him. Since he is reliant on mobility to be effective, heroes with lockdown, point and click crowd control can shut him down. He also takes a bit of time to get going. Harith’s early game is pretty weak and you won’t feel his damage until two or three items in. Overall, Harith is an excellent mage that every player should learn to play and have in their arsenal of heroes. His role versatility makes him a very good pick and can fit most team compositions in the current meta.
Abilities
Harith’s whole kit is geared towards dealing damage while remaining extremely mobile.
Passive – Key Insight

Harith gains insight from his Key and reduces his time controlled by up to 45% depending on the amount of enemy heroes near him.
At first glance, this may seem like a below average passive. But, when you take into consideration Harith’s kit and entire design, you’ll realize that this is actually a very handy passive. This basically reduces all crowd control and debuff effects on him by 45%. Key Insight allows Harith to play very aggressively and dive the enemy team’s carries without having to worry too much about being CC locked.
First Skill – Synchro Fission

Harith creates a phantom of himself in the opposite direction and releases Synchro Fission together, each dealing 204 / 228 / 252 / 276 / 300 / 324 (+84% Total Magic Power) points of Magic Damage to all enemy units on the path.
When the 2 Hariths fuse together, an explosion occurs, dealing 510 / 570 / 630 / 690 / 750 / 810 (+210% Total Magic Power) points of Magic Damage to all enemies in the explosion area.
This is Harith’s primary damaging ability. It’s a good source of burst damage and scales really well with your Magic Power. It also has a pretty decent area of effect so you can use it creatively to deal damage to multiple targets or to clear waves while pushing a lane.
Second Skill – Chrono Dash

Harith dashes to a designated direction, gaining a shield that absorbs at least 150 / 190 / 230 / 270 / 310 / 300 (+120% Total Magic Power) points of damage and enhancing his next Basic Attack.
Harith’s enhanced Basic Attack deals 200 / 230 / 260 / 290 / 320 / 350 (+80% Total Magic Power) points of Magic Damage and slows the enemies by 40% for 1 second.
Hitting an enemy with Harith’s enhanced Basic Attack reduces the cooldown of the next Chrono Dash by 3 seconds.
This is Harith’s main mobility spell. Chrono Dash is precisely why Harith is a very strong hero. He can dash along enemy lines while continuously dealing burst damage. The enhanced basic attack is also really good for harassing opponents or finishing them off. When utilized properly, it can be used repeatedly in a fight.
Ultimate – Zaman Force

Harith uses his Key to summon the Zaman Force. When the multidimensional rift appears, the cooldown of Chrono Dash is reduced by 4 seconds. The rift slows nearby enemies by 35% for a short period of time.
If Harith comes into contact with the rift when using Chrono Dash, he will absorb the energy within it, so as to reduce the cooldown of Synchro Fission / Chrono Dash by 1 second / 3 seconds respectively.
Zaman Force is what ties Harith’s kit together. It inflicts a 35% slow on a massive area where Harith can spam all his abilities together. If you use it at the right moment and you pick your spots perfectly, Harith can cast all his skills continuously in a short amount of time.
Builds

When it comes to item builds, your primary focus on Harith is to increase your Magic Power as much as possible. Doing so will increase the damage your abilities deal. On top of increasing your Magic Power, you should also go for items that enhance his basic attacks. Since his second skill empowers his next basic attack, items that can further enhance this damage are important on Harith. As such, there are two items we consider important on Harith that you must have on all games and builds you would use regardless of playstyle. These core items are Calamity Reaper and Feather of Heaven.
- Calamity Reaper
+70 Magic Power
+100 Mana
+6 Mana Regen
+10% CD Reduction
Unique Passive – Calamity: In 3s after using the skill, the casters next Basic Attack deals additional True Damage as much as 120% of Magic Power with a cooldown of 1.5s. Then briefly gains 10% Movement Speed.
- Feather of Heaven
+30% Attack Speed
+55 Magic Power
+5% CD Reduction
Unique Passive – Affliction: Basic Attacks deal extra Magic Damage equal to 50 plus 30% Magic Power.
Both of these items increase Harith’s effectiveness as a hero. It allows him to do more damage and make the most out of the buffs given to him by Chrono Dash. With Calamity Reaper and Feather of Heaven in hand, the enhanced basic attack after using Chrono Dash can nuke out a huge portion of your target’s health.
Useful Tips
- For emblems, always take the Mage set and Mystery Shop as your talent. Mystery Shop reduces the cost of items by 10%. Since Harith’s core items have pretty hefty price tags, this talent can help you get his items much quicker and get to his power spikes sooner.
- For your battle spell, take Retribution if going in the Jungle and Purify if you’re playing in the Mid Lane. Retribution allows you to clear jungle camps quicker and lets you secure objectives like Lord and Turtle. Purify, on the other hand, lets you offset your weakness to crowd control by removing all debuffs from you and allows you to keep moving.
- Harith is a pretty good overall hero. The heroes that counter him mostly have some sort of lockdown crowd control that can single him out. Heroes like Kaja, Moskov, Selena, Eudora, and Diggie can counter Harith and severely limit his effectiveness as a core hero.
