Gaming
Overview
Eudora is a free hero that you’ll get when you first start playing Mobile Legends. And it’s not surprising why she’s everyone’s first hero. She has a very easy to use skill set with abilities that are very easy to hit. All you have to do is build Magic items and figure out your positioning. She has excellent poke, great wave clear, astounding burst damage, and generally favorable matchups. Even assassins, who are usually counters to most mages, will have a hard time going against Eudora. This is because of her point and click stun. She can stop diving assassins or fighters in their tracks and outplay them using her immense damage. Despite everything she’s got going for her, Eudora still has some very gaping weaknesses to her game. For starters, most of her abilities can only burst a single target. So if two heroes were to dive her, chances are, she’ll easily get killed. Her range is fairly short as well so other champions with longer range can take advantage of this mismatch. She also has no mobility so without her stun, she can be pretty vulnerable. Overall, Eudora is still a great pick and a great choice if you’re looking for an easy mage to use.
Abilities
Eudora’s abilities all deal damage. Her entire kit is geared towards dealing huge amounts of damage to a single target. Although she can extend the range of her abilities, it depends on how she uses them in a combo.
Passive – Superconductor

Eudora’s skills inflict Superconductor on the target for 3s. Additional effects will be applied when Eudora lands her skills on targets affected by Superconductor.
Eudora’s passive is pretty straightforward. It basically increases the effectiveness of her other abilities and enhances their damage or range.
First Skill – Forked Lightning

Eudora casts fork lightning, dealing 350 / 410 / 470 / 530 / 590 / 650 (+150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area in front of her. Enemies affected by Superconductor will take 190 / 230 / 270 / 310 / 350 / 390 (+30% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage after a short delay (for a total of 540 / 640 / 740 / 840 / 940 / 1040 (+180% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage).
This is Eudora’s primary damaging ability. You’ll use this mostly to poke enemies and clear minion waves. It’s a solid source of burst damage with pretty decent range. You’ll be spamming this ability a lot, especially in team fights.
Second Skill – Ball Lightning

Eudora launches a lightning bolt towards a target, dealing 350 / 370 / 390 / 410 / 430 / 450 (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage, stunning the target for 1.2 seconds, and reducing the target’s Magic Defense by 10 / 13 / 16 / 19 / 22 / 25 for 1.8 seconds.
If the target is affected by Superconductor before getting struck by the lightning ball, the lightning will split into minor lightning balls and further spread towards up to 3 targets nearby, dealing 175 / 185 / 195 / 205 / 215 / 225 (+40% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage and stunning them for 0.6 second.
The minor lightning bolts will prioritize enemy heroes over enemy minions.
This is Eudora’s only form of crowd control. It’s a single target ability that can spread to other enemies if your first target has been afflicted with Superconductor. This ability is what makes Eudora a deadly mage to go up against. She can easily erase and one shot squishy carries from the enemy team if she hits them with this point and click stun.
Ultimate – Thunder’s Wrath

Eudora summons a great lightning storm, dealing 480 / 660 / 840 (+180% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the target.
If the target is affected by the Superconductor, dark clouds will be formed over the target’s head. After a 0.8 second delay, lightning strikes down from the clouds, dealing 440 (+150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in the area of effect (for a total of 920 / 1100 / 1280 (+330% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage). Meanwhile, the lightning charges will spread on the ground toward nearby enemies dealing 360 / 495 / 630 (+150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage.
Eudora’s ultimate is where her burst damage comes from. It is an ability that deals a high amount of damage and can easily one shot enemy carries if Eudora has her full build. On its own, this is a single target ability but when used on a target affected by Superconductor, it gets a slightly wider range and damages nearby targets. This ability is best used to finish off targets after you’ve hit them with your other abilities.
Builds

When it comes to items, your only priority on Eudora is to build items that will enhance her damage and her survivability. If it increases her Magic Damage, her health, and mana, then it is a viable item on her. Out of all these items, there are 3 we consider absolutely essential on Eudora. These core items are Lightning Truncheon, Holy Crystal, and Divine Glaive.
- Lightning Truncheon
+75 Magic Power
+300 Mana
+10% CD REduction
Unique Passive – Resonate: Every 6 seconds, the next skill echoes, dealing 20-1000 Magic Damage (scales with the hero’s Max Mana) to up to 3 enemies.
- Holy Crystal
+100 Magic Power
Unique Passive – Mystery: Increases Magic Power by 21%~35% (Scales with level).
- Divine Glaive
+65 Magic Power
Unique Passive: +35% Magic PEN
Unique Passive – Spellbreaker: Each point of the enemy’s Magic Defense increases Magic Penetration by 0.1% when dealing damage to it, capped at 20%.
These items are all really good on a hero like Eudora. Lightning Truncheon gives her additional burst as its passive allows her to deal more damage. Holy Crystal gives her more Magic Power and increases that Magic Power she currently has. Divine Glaive is handy for when heroes start to build Magic Defense later in the game. We would also like to include an item that isn’t as popular on her but can be good in certain situations. This item is the Winter Truncheon. Winter Truncheon gives her Magic Power and a bit of armor plus it’s passive allows Eudora to enter stasis where she cannot be targeted and is immune to all damage.
Useful Tips
- For emblems, always take the Mage set and Impure Rage as your talent. Impure Rage allows your skills to deal extra magic damage equal to 4% of the target’s current HP while restoring 3% of your Mana.
- For battle spells, always take Flicker. Since Eudora doesn’t have any form of mobility, this adds an escape tool to her arsenal. Purify or Sprint can also be decent alternatives depending on her matchup.
- Eudora is countered by heroes with a longer range than her and can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time. These heroes can take out Eudora before she can even make a move. Assassins that can dodge her crowd control are also strong against Eudora. Heroes like Lesley, Chang’e, Hayabusa, and Karina can hard counter and reduce Eudora’s effectiveness in a match.
