How To Get Discord Badges

Discord has many different badges that differentiate a single person or a user from different groups or other users. You can see these badges on someone’s profile. You have to do or achieve something to gain a badge. We will show you how you can gain these badges. 

The HypeSquad Badges

The first three badges we are going to talk about are the HypeSquad Brilliance, HypeSquad Balance, and HypeSquad Bravery.

You can get these by following these simple steps. 

Step 1

 Go to “Settings”. It is the cog icon right next to the headphones and microphone menu close to your profile picture. Press on it to get to the next step.

Step 2

Go to “HypeSquad” in the “Discord Nitro” menu. 

Step 3

Once you press on it, a new menu will open. Here you want to select “Join HypeSquad”. This option will give you access to a survey. Here you will answer all the questions the way you see fit. Based on your results, you will receive one of those badges. 

Note: To get any of these badges, you need to verify your account first. If you don’t, you won’t receive a single badge no matter how many times you did the survey.

HypeSquad Events Badge

This is the HypeSquad Events Badge. It is a popular badge that very few people have. It is famous for its yellow design. 

To get this badge, you need to go to the Discord HypedSquad website. Here you can apply for the badge. To keep this badge, you need to visit conventions. On this website, you let Discord know where you’ve been and the events you’ve visited. Here is how the application looks like. This is just a sample of the things you would have to upload to prove to Discord you’ve visited these conventions. 

Discord Partner Badge

This is the Discord Partner Badge. The blue design is simple, yet very cool. 

The only way to get this badge is by applying for Discord partnerships. Whether it is with Twitch or YouTube. However, there is one trick. You need to have a specific amount of people following you to apply for this badge. 

Now, the minimal requirements always change, so we can’t say for sure how many followers you should have. But, if you have a steady amount of followers, you can apply to get this badge.

Discord Book Hunter Badge

This Book Hunter Badge is a green badge you can’t miss. It is a pretty cool badge because of how rare it is and there is a good reason for it.

To get this badge you need to join Discord test servers. The goal is for you to report all the glitches and bugs you can find. If you find a worthy bug or a glitch, Discord will reward you with this badge.

Early Supporter Badge

This is one of those badges that stands out from the rest. It has a unique design that is very captivating.

The thing about this badge is that you can’t get it anymore. It is one of the rarest badges in Discord. To get it, you must have been subscribed to Discord Nitro before September/October. People who got this badge were rewarded by Discord with a free one year Nitro. 

Discord Nitro Badge

This badge was first introduced in 2016. It is pretty simple to get. All you have to do is subscribe to Discord and you will immediately gain a Nitro Badge. 

There is also one more badge that is called Discord Staff Badge. But, since very few people have it, there is not much information on this badge. Other than that, you now know all the badges you can possibly get on Discord.
