Downloading an Offline Map

1. Open Google Maps on your device.

3. Type your destination to the search bar of Google maps.

4. Click the information bar at the bottom of the screen then tap the ellipsis on the top-right corner of the screen.

5. Select “Download Offline Map” from the options.

Clicking the button will give you several editing options, including the ability to add a label, download an offline map, add a photo, set it as a parking place, and cancel your activity.

6. To continue with this process, you have to confirm by clicking “Download.”

A new window will appear, which will ask for your confirmation if the destination is correct. If the information and location are accurate, complete the procedure by clicking “Download.”

Using the Downloaded Offline Map

After you’ve downloaded an area, use the Google Maps app as usual. Even if you don’t have access to the internet, this will assist you in getting to your destination. However, it would be best if you kept in mind that an offline map will not provide you with information and specifics regarding traffic, accidents, and other routes.

1. Select the “Go” option at the bottom of the screen.
