In Asana, you can create forms to collect information, such as feedback, suggestions, and reports from your teammates and other people that you want to ask for help. Once someone fills up and submits one of your forms, they’ll become a task on the project automatically.

How to create a form for your project in Asana

If you want to turn bug reports, requests, customer feedback, and other ideas into tasks in Asana, you can use forms. As long as you’re using a premium, business, or enterprise plan, you can create forms whenever you want.

You can create forms from the Asana desktop or web app. Follow our guide below, and we’ll cover the steps you need to know.

  1. Open the Asana desktop or web app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to one of your projects and open the Customize tab.

  3. Head to the Form tab and add a new form.

  4. Add questions and adjust the settings to set the form you want.

  5. Click Done on the bottom right to confirm your decision to create a new form. On the other hand, you can click the Delete form option if you ever change your mind.

You can copy the link to the form and send it to people to ask them for their feedback, reports, and requests. Anyone that has access to the link can answer the form and submit the results.

Please note that forms are available on Asana premium, business, and enterprise plans. However, the branching, header customization, and confirmation messages are only available on business and enterprise plans.

Unfortunately, you can’t create new forms on the Asana mobile app. You’ll need to open either the desktop or web version to do so.

Note: Users on a free premium trial can only share the form with users within the workspace.
