How to create a new ClickUp dashboard

If you want to have a unique visual representation of your work on ClickUp, you can create a dashboard on your workspace. With the help of this feature, you can track content on your workspace in a single place.

You can create a dashboard from the ClickUp web or desktop app. Follow our tutorial below, and we’ll cover the steps to do so.

On your computer:

  1. Launch the ClickUp desktop or web app and sign in to your account.
  2. Expand the Dashboard section and click the plus icon on the right of “My Private Dashboards.”

  3. Choose a name for your dashboard.
  4. Choose from the available templates or start from scratch. We’ll go with the latter option in this tutorial.

  5. Browse the available widgets you can use and select the one you want to display on your dashboard.

  6. Fill up the widget details and click the “Add Widget” button on the bottom right.

  7. Add more widgets that you want to display on your dashboard.

That’s how you create a ClickUp dashboard from scratch. If you have no idea where to start, you can try using one of the templates available on the app.

You can customize a dashboard by adding, removing, editing, or resizing widgets. You can toggle the “Edit mode” option to switch between editing and viewing your dashboard.

Please note that not all widgets are available on the Free Forever workspace plan. You’ll get access to more widgets when you subscribe to ClickUp’s premium plans.

Unfortunately, there’s no option to create or edit dashboards on the ClickUp mobile app. However, you can still view them from your phone, including their widgets.
