How To Change Crunchyroll Payment Method

Step 1

Open the Crunchyroll website. On the top-right side of the screen, you will see the profile icon. Click on it. You will now gain access to a drop-down menu. In this menu, click on “Settings”. It is right above “Order History”. 

Step 2

Go to “Premium Membership Status” on the left menu. It is right under “Account Settings”. Click on it.  

Step 3

Look for the link that says “Change Card”. It is right next to your current card information. Click on it and update the card with the new information. When you are done, Crunchyroll will renew the subscription. It will charge you automatically from the new credit card you now inserted. 

Changing from PayPal to Credit Card

The first thing you have to do is disable the active membership. To do that, go to your PayPal account. Open your recurring payments and remove “Ellation, Inc” from the page. This will disable the renewing membership option. 

After that, you should wait for your current active membership status to expire. If you purchase another one before it expires, you might have an error. When the subscription expires, log in to your Crunchyroll account. 

Go to the “Premium Membership Plan Comparison” section. Choose the membership status you want to upgrade. Select your preferred option and select the Credit Card as the payment method you want to use. Type all the necessary information and purchase the premium package. 

That’s it! You’ve now successfully changed the payment method on your Crunchyroll account.
