How To Cancel Cinemax On The Firestick

With Amazon’s Firestick device, you can watch movies, episodes of your favorite show, and even play games. It is very simple to use. You just need to plug it in your TV HDMI port, connect it to the internet, and set it up as you like. 

Inside the app store, you will find all the apps that the device supports. If it is not there, you can try to use a workaround to install it. However, it is better not to do it since it could damage the Firestick software. 

Some of the apps, like YouTube and Firefox, are free to use. But other apps require a monthly payment or subscription to use them. On some occasions, these pre-paid apps offer a free trial that usually lasts a month. So take advantage of this to see whether or not you need or want the app. 

But as happens with any free trial, you have to provide the app with a credit card. If you fail to cancel before the beginning of the next billing cycle, the monthly subscription will be charged automatically. Therefore, it is important to know how to cancel the subscription. Here you have an example on how to cancel a Cinemax subscription. 

Step 1

You must go to the Amazon web page and log in to your Amazon account. Once you are inside, head to “Accounts and Lists” and click on it. This option is at the top right of the screen; it is the fourth option from right to left.

Step 2

Upon the click, a new menu with a new set of options will unfold before you. Click on the first option at the top, which says your account.

Once you are inside your account, scroll all the way down until you spot the membership and subscription section. Click on the Prime video channels option, which the second option from the bottom to the top.

You will be directed to a page where you can manage all your subscriptions. There you will find all the information about your subscription. For example, you will see how much the service costs and when you are going to be charged for the next billing cycle. At the far right, you will see the cancel subscription button; click on it.

Step 5

After the selection, a pop-up alert will appear at the screen. It will ask you if you are sure that you wish to cancel the subscription. There you can see when your benefits will end. If you are sure, click on the cancel channels option and that is all. 

You will be able to make another subscription once the older one expires. For example, in this case, you must wait until at least May 25 to subscribe to Cinemax services again. 

You might be thinking, why in God’s name would I want another subscription if I just ended one? Well, many people use subscription services for just one show. As soon as the season’s end, there is no reason to keep the subscription, especially is it is a GOT-like show that the recording process takes too long. Therefore, you can end the subscription, and then make a new one before the new season.
