How To Ask Someone To Dance In Stardew Valley
Last Updated: July 27, 2021
Do you think you can dance? If you’re not much of a dancer in real life, Stardew Valley gives you a chance to show off some pretty awesome dance moves.
What is the Flower Dance?
The Flower Dance is one of the most important events in Stardew Valley especially if you have your eye on building a relationship with one of the characters. It’s held on the 24th day of Spring in the Cindersap Forest and you need to be there between the hours of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
If you want to get married, dancing with an eligible bachelor/bachelorette at the Flower Dance is the easiest and quickest way to increase their Hearts. Not to mention, you are treated to a fun and delightful cutscene in what can only be described as the greatest dance off in gaming history since the dancing mission in GTA: San Andreas.
You might be asking yourself, why is this important? Well marrying someone in Stardew Valley can yield to some pretty helpful bonuses. Marrying Abigail, for example, can give you bombs that you can use in the mine. Bombs aren’t cheap so having a few extra ones given to you for free can go a long way.
So how do you ask someone to dance?
Before you go trying to ask someone out to the dance, you need to make sure that you have at least four friendship hearts with them. This can be done by giving them gifts they like and talking to them daily.
On the day of the event, you need to talk to them twice to pop the question. Just say yes, then sit back and enjoy the show.
Dancing with someone gives a massive boost to your relationship with them and increases it by one heart. The festival ends at 10 PM and you’ll find yourself returned to your farm.
Stardew Valley is mostly known for being a great farming simulator. But having mechanics introduced like dancing at the Flower Dance to increase relationship levels add another layer to an already great game. So there you have it! Enjoy the Flower Dance!
