How to add text to your designs in Canva

You can add text boxes in Canva from their mobile, web, and desktop app. In our tutorials below, we’ll show you how to use the feature from your phone and computer.

On your computer:

1. Open the Canva web or desktop app and sign in to your account.
2. Open one of the existing designs on your account or create a new one from scratch.
3. Click Text on the sidebar located at the left side of the screen.
