1. Open the web browser then navigate to Google Docs.

To begin, open the computer browser and then navigate to Google Docs.

2. Select a document to edit.

You must select a specific file that needs to be edited from all of the existing documents in your account.

3. Click the “Insert” button on the menu bar and a drop-down menu will appear.

After you’ve opened the document, click the “Insert” tab in the page’s menu bar to bring up a drop-down menu.

4. Choose “Break” then select “Page break.”

To add a page, select “Break” from the drop-down list and then “Page break” from the small option on the side. Alternatively, you can add a blank page by pressing the Ctrl + Enter keys on your keyboard.

On Mobile Device

There are instances when we need to edit a document immediately but don’t have access to our computers; however, you don’t have to worry because adding a blank page to your document is also possible using the Google Docs mobile application. Simply follow the instructions below.

1. Open an existing document to edit or create a new one.

To begin, open a document to edit; it can be an existing one or you can create a new one. Afterward, click the pencil icon on the lower right side of the page to start editing the document.

2. Hover your cursor to the place you want to insert a page break.

On the document’s page, place your cursor to where you want to insert a page break.

3. Click the plus icon on top of the document page.

Following that, you should see a plus icon on the top-right side of the page; click on this icon to bring up a menu list on your screen.

4. Select the option “Page break” from the list that appeared.

Select “Page break” from the list, and a blank page will be inserted into your document. Note that because the “insert” menu list contains many options, you must scroll down until you find the “Page break” option.

Entering all of the data and information required in the document is the easiest part of writing. However, the tricky part is organizing the document to make it more readable and appealing to the audience. One thing that can help improve it is not attempting to fit everything on a single page. Keep this tip in mind, especially when writing formal and academic papers!
