Enabling Autoplay On Your Videos In Google Slides

When preparing for presentations, Google Slides is one of the popular tools we often use. It has a lot of great features that allow us to bring out our creativity and be able to create a really unique output.

It has multiple templates where we can choose from to match the topic or theme of our presentation, a feature that allows us to add animation to all the elements, and enables us to add videos or audio clips to it. Amazing, right? But when it comes to presenting, we usually don’t like any interruptions so it’s very important to make sure everything runs smoothly—from the next slide to another, until you finish the whole thing.

In achieving that, one of the things you have to do is enabling autoplay in all the videos you have in your presentation. In this article, we’ll teach you how to do it.

1. Click on the slide where you’ve added a video.

Once you’re already on that specific slide, make sure that the presentation is in normal view so that it’s much easier for you to see the whole thing clearly.

2. Click the video you added, right-click, and select “Format”.

Just like how you click any other image you add, select the video you’ve added in the slide. Once done, right-click on your mouse and select the “Format” options. However, another method would be to find the Format on the menu bar and click it.

3. Click the “Video Playback” and select “Play Automatically”.

When you’ve clicked the Format options, it will show at the right side of your screen. You’ll see there the Video Playback button—it’s the one you have to click. Afterwards, check on the “Play Automatically” options and you’re done!

When you present, your video will already autoplay. Now you don’t have to worry about having any pauses in your presentation!

Run Smooth Presentations with Google Slides

Not only does Google Slides helps you with making creative presentations, it also helps with having it run smooth and error-free. Videos and images are a good addition to every presentation, that’s why making sure that they’re presented in the correct manner is a lot essential!
