Last Updated: September 30, 2019
Exodus is the perfect add-on for watching your favorite TV shows and movies. In this guide, we will show you how to install it on your Firestick. It may seem a bit complicated. But, if you follow the steps, you do it in no-time. To download this add-on, you will need KODI for this. So, let’s get right to it.
Before you start downloading anything on the Firestick, you need to enable “Apps from Unknown Sources”. To do that, go to the “Settings” menu. Scroll until you find “My Fire TV”. Here, make sure this option is turned on.
After that, it’s time to download KODI. Open the “Downloader” app on your Firestick. Go to the “Settings” menu on the left side of the screen. Enable “JavaScipt”. Now, type “ES Explorer app” in the research option and download the app. Install it on your Firestick.
When you are done, launch the app and go to the cog icon in the top menu. Click on it to open the “Settings”.
Here, go to “File manager” and “add source”. Now, what you want to do is add a path and a name to that path. This is crucial. So, make sure to type it correctly. To enter a new path select the “None” field and type in the following link: http://I-A-C.github.io/ – like in the screenshot below. Then, give this file a name. In this example, we will name the file 1. Click on “OK” when you are done.
Now, go back to KODI’s home screen. Scroll down the left menu until you find “Add-ons”. Click on it. In the new window, click on the box icon in the top left corner of the screen. Click on “Install from zip file”. If it brings up a new window, go to “Settings”.
This menu may not be necessary for everyone. But, if it pops up for you, then you have to enable “Unknown sources” from “Add ons. If you already have it enabled, you will get direct access to the download option.
Go back to “Install from zip file”. Click on it again. You are ready to install Exodus. Find the name of the file you just saved. Ours is 1. Click “OK”. The repository will now install very quickly. It should take a couple of seconds.
Next, click “Install from repository”.
You will now see the Exodus Redux. Click on “Exodus Redux Repo”. Then, click on “Video add-ons”. Lastly, click on “Exodus Redux”. Now you will gain access to the installation window. On the bottom-right corner of the screen, click “Install”. You will see a list of things pop up. Don’t worry. You don’t have to download that list separately.
What you need to do is go to the right side of the screen and press “OK”. This will let all the Exodus files install on your Fire TV. It may take from 5 to 10 minutes to complete. That’s it! Now you have successfully installed the Exodus Redux on your Firestick.
Installing the Exodus on your Firestick can be a bit tricky. But, now that you know how to do it, you will have no problem downloading it.
