How to See and Add Bookmarks on Chromebook
Chromebook is a tablet or a laptop that mainly uses Google Chrome as the primary browser for running most of its applications. That’s why we will show you how you can find your bookmarks or add new ones on the Google Chrome browser.
Let’s say you’ve found that web page you are looking for. And now you want to save it. All you have to do is click on the star icon in the search bar. It is on the far right corner of the screen.
When you click on it, the page will automatically get added to the list of bookmarks in your Chrome Browser. If you have enabled the bar, you will see the new bookmark appear in that bar. Google Chrome automatically has the bookmark bar enabled.
But, if you previously disabled it, you will have to enable it to see the bookmarks you add to the browser. You can store as many bookmarks as you want on your Bookmark Manager in Chrome. However, you can select only a few to appear in the browser menu for easy access.
To find the bookmark bar, it’s pretty easy. Just open your Chrome browser. Right under the search bar and navigation buttons, you will see a different bar. This is the section where the browser stores all of your bookmarks. If you still can’t find it, see the screenshot below.
Here you can see both the star icon and the bookmark bar. The star icon is the one you use to add new bookmarks that will later appear in your bar. You can access all the bookmarks you have saved here. If you added too many and you can’t see the rest, right-click on the bookmark bar. Open “Bookmark Manager”.
You will now see all the bookmarks you have previously saved. Even if they don’t appear in the quick access menu. That’s it! Now you know how to see all the bookmarks on your Chrome browser.
Keeping track of all of your bookmarks on Chrome is pretty easy. The best thing about it is that you can add an unlimited amount. But, you can only save a few on the bar for quick access. This is a pretty useful feature. You can save your favorite websites, pages, apps, or the books you were reading online.
Once you get the hang of it, you will use it all the time. Let us know if you found this guide helpful in the comments below.
